Chief Executive Officer, MS
Adeline Yeo
Ms. Yeo received her Master’s degree in Biostatistics. She has 20 years of experience supporting phase I-II trials in a variety of therapeutic areas, with most experience in Oncology. Over the years, she has been a statistics consultant for large pharmaceuticals including Eli Lilly, Wyeth, Amgen, and Novartis.

Shuguang Huang
Dr. Shuguang Huang has 20 years of experience working in pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. He had assumed technical and management positions at Eli Lilly, Wyeth, and Pfizer. His most position was Associate VP, department head of Biostatistics at Helomics, a cancer diagnostic company. In 2014, he co-founded and assumed the Chief Scientific Officer position for the statistics consulting company Stat4ward.
His expertise includes (i) In-depth real-life expertise in assay development and validation. (ii) data mining and exploratory analysis using high-throughput assay technologies. (iii) Broad experience with various assay technologies and their applications in drug development and biomarker assay development. (iv) Statistical process control. (v) IVD/LTD regulatory submission – PMA, 510(k), CLIA.
Dr. Huang is a committee member of AAPS Flow Cytometry Action Programming Committee, and he is the committee members for a few CLSI guideline development teams. He has conducted a few workshops across US teaching Assay validation based on CLSI guidelines. He has 30 peer-reviewed publications.
Hannah Zhao
Ph.D., CDx/RWE
Dr. Zhao has extensive work experience in health care research for 20 years. She is well-versed in standard and advanced biostatistics techniques used in biomedical research, including cross sectional data, clustered and multilevel data, (nested) case control studies, self-controlled case series method (SCCS), marginal structural models, latent variable modeling, propensity score methods.
Qingyang Zhang
Ph.D., Biomarker Algorithm Development
Dr. Zhang received his Ph. D. in Statistics with a concentration in computational biology. His expertise is in network modeling, gene expression analysis, and computational systems biology. Dr. Zhang has 12 peer-reviewed articles published in Journal of the American Statistical Association, PLoS Genetics, and BMC Systems Biology.
Sha Yang
MS, Analytical Method Development
Sha Yang has 15 years of experience. Her focuses in Stat4Ward include statistical design of experiment (DOE), SAP development, and data analysis. She has deep expertise in diagnostic product development, CMC, and exploratory modeling.
Hang Nguyen
Ph.D., Principal Biostatistician
Dr. Nguyen has experience in survival analysis, clinical trials, statistical methods in sampling, epidemiology, genetic data, causal inference, and machine learning. At Stat4ward, she focuses on statistical methodologies related to CDx and clinical trials. She received her Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Southern Methodist University.
Xiaohui Chen
Ph.D., Principal Biostatistician
Dr. Chen has extensive experience in statistical inference and data modeling. She supports the SAP and protocol development for clinical trials and analytical method validation studies. Her focus at Stat4ward are statistical methodologies and supporting projects that involve challenging statistical issues.
Yutong Yang
Ph.D., Principal Biostatistician
Dr. Yang, with backgrounds in Applied Statistics and Chemical Engineering, focuses at Stat4ward on protocol development for clinical trials and analytical method validation studies, ensuring data integrity through statistical methodologies, and programming for meta and exploratory analyses.
Shanshan Zhang
Ph.D., Principal Biostatistician
Dr. Zhang, with a background in Genetics, Statistics, and Data Science, has extensive experience in cancer and genomic data analysis. At Stat4ward, she focuses on developing protocols for clinical trials and validating analytical methods. Additionally, she provides support in statistical analysis and programming.
Joanne Yu
MS, Biostatistician
Ms. Yu has MS in Business Analytics and BS in Accountancy. She focuses on providing support in data analysis, data visualization, programming, and project management.
Jimin Wang
MS, Biostatistician
Mr. Wang has MS in Biostatistics and BS in Statistics. He provides statistics and programming support to CDx and CMC projects.
Zhengbo Wu
MS, Biostatistician
Mr. Wu has a MS Biostatistics. He provides statistical analysis and programming support in assay validation projects.
Lucas Lu

Mr. Lu has a MS in Biostatistics and provides statistical analysis and programming support in various projects.

Serena Sin
MBA, HR Manager/QA
Ms. Sin provides service in HR-related matters. She also provides support in QA. She received her MBA in 2006 and has a BS in Food Studies.
Alethea Wieland
QA Manager
Ms. Wieland is a seasoned life science scientist with deep knowledge in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, healthcare IT/AI, drug and medical device sectors. She has strong expertise in clinical research (e.g. EMR-EDC Interoperability, Regulatory Negotiations/Submissions) and Quality Assurance (e.g. Process/Quality Improvements, Risk Analysis/Investor Relations).
